Hull FC's annual Heritage Weekend has been extended to a week long list of events and activities to celebrate the club's 150th birthday and season finale!

The club's official Heritage Week, will take place in between the club's final two home matches against Huddersfield Giants and Catalans Dragons, with the latter to include a host of heritage themed activities including a tribute to the Black and Whites’ former players and the now traditional club memorial service.

There will also be a special opportunity for supporters in the build-up to the match, which will be announced next week and will involve thirteen new honorary club members.

The club's official birthday will be celebrated on Monday 21st September, exactly 120 years since their first formal competitive fixture against Liversedge at The Boulevard.

The day will include the full first-team squad visiting local schools in the area and handing out 150 tickets at each one, in return for a special birthday present the students have prepared.

The week will also get underway on Saturday 19th September on the site of the former ground, which is now the Boulevard Academy, where a memorial organised by supporters group FC Voices and the RFL's 120 year anniversary plaque will both be unveiled.

Another highlight of the week will also be a special cinema screening of the club's 1982 Challenge Cup Final replay victory against Widnes and ten years on, footage from the 2005 Challenge Cup win against Leeds Rhinos.

Extended highlights of the game will be shown at REEL Cinema in St Stephen's Shopping Centre, including special guest interviews from those involved.
